Dutchman Raymond Teunisse (aka DJ Raymundo) developed his passion for music at a very young age. He was inspired by his father’s love of 70’s & 80’s synthesizer music (Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk). He was inspired by former Escape resident DJ Marcello, who was spinning at the world famous Club IT in Amsterdam at the time (1992). Marcello gave Raymond the opportunity to start playing in the same club, an incredible opportunity at such a young age of 15 years old! Years and a lot of parties passed by when Raymundo was asked to become resident of the finest club in the country (2006); Escape Venue in Amsterdam. For many years Raymundo has consistently rocked his Saturday night residency entitled Framebusters (now called; ’Brainwash’). Crucially, he is also the talent booker, inviting national and international top DJ’s (Hardwell, Fedde le Grand, David Guetta, Axwell, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, to name a few) to offer the top night out in Amsterdam. Looking back over the years, Raymond has headlined major festivals such as Dance Valley, Mystery Land, Loveland Festival and almost every club throughout the Netherlands. In addition, 2017 was a very special year for Raymundo for another reason, as he celebrated his 25 years dj-career & 12,5 years residency at Escape Venue behind the decks. With his weekly residency (Fridays & Saturdays) at Escape Venue Amsterdam and performances at the biggest festivals in the Netherlands and abroad; Raymundo is busier then ever!
