Harris Mac is a producer / singer / rapper based in upstate New York. He has worked with Cathedrals, Jak Lizard, and Von Sell, and has released music on Earmilk, Hillydilly, Kitsune, and more. His music ranges from piano rap to psychedelic synth soul, with elements of jazz and classical. Music to Harris is not about fame, trends, or social media. It is about authenticity, vulnerability, and letting go of the ego. He believes that art must come from the soul, and that it is only art if it is created out of necessity. His passion stems from a burning desire to create unique objects of beauty that defy traditional standards; he likes to embrace imperfection and Wabi Sabi aesthetics in both his electronic productions and live performances. Currently he resides in his dream studio— a converted barn in upstate, New York. As he explores his path to spiritual and creative clarity, he strives to connect with nature, simplify his life and his art, and tap into the vibrations that persist in all things great and small.
