Set for Salvation is a song writing and recording project and embryonic gospel music band. We aim to bring you original material, that fuses contemporary Christian and gospel genres, in an inspiring and spiritually uplifting experience. We have also released pop songs with a ‘God dimension’ that appeal to a wider audience. The founder member, songwriter and producer is Julian Orton, with vocals from Abi Rigley, Rhiannon Bone and Faye Wellard. Guest artists include West End singer Katy Treharne, Gospel singer Hanson Asiedu and CCM artist Rob Westall. Julian has a classical music training and has led worship for many years at Surbiton New Life Baptist Church. Julian writes, arranges, records and produces all of Set for Salvation’s material. Our latest release, Praise Ye The Lord (Psalm 150) comes out on 3/5/24 and features Faye Wellard on vocals and Isaac Onyango on percussion. The song was written to mark the 150th anniversary of Surbiton New Life Baptist Church. We hope you feel inspired to worship.
