From North Carolina being born into a musically inclined family, WyKia has been into R&B/Soul music since she could walk. Growing up in a musical influential family, she found her passion for music, this leading her into wanting to become a singer. WyKia listened to music from musicians such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Stephanie Mills etc. Her favorite genres growing up included Old school music from the 80s all the way to present times. Shortly after jump starting her career in 2016, WyKia released her single, Only You which lead her to winning her first & second Underground Muaic award for "Best New Artist" (2017) & “ Female R&B Artist of the year” (2018) at the Queen City Awards located in Charlotte. Upon her win, WyKia released her single Love Away. Shes BACK w/Her most recent releases Line of Vision & Audacity . They are both definitely one for your ears to enjoy!
