Jaylen Caine Watkins was born on January 17, 2001, in Queens, New York. Professionally known as NELYAJ SNIKTA, an American rapper widely known for his versatile range and style of music. As a child he wasn’t too big on music, his first passion was actually dancing. That was until he came across Skrillex in middle school which was the start of the music inspiration overall. Eventually his love for dubstep got lost in the mud and he came to loving the genre of Hip Hop. As he grew over time, he became influenced by the works of rappers such as Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTENTACION, Scarlxrd, Juice WRLD, Smokepurpp, and Jaden Smith. His style can be described as experimental but in many ways hardcore with a deeper message behind the lyrics. In recent times, he has worked with the rising star Phntm Live. On November 20, 2018, he dropped his single “Act Out” and from there took his time and energy to create and complete his highly anticipated EP “NIHILIST”, a trap metal themed project. NIHILIST was later dropped on January 23, 2019 and caught the attention of a following in result. After releasing his debut mixtape “COCAINE & CASSETTE TAPES” on July 31, 2020, he went on a hiatus to fully develop himself personally and mentally to create to his best work potential possible. On April 25, 2022, he came back and dropped his single “JUMPOUTTHEANTHEM” a remix to Playboi Cart’s, JumpOutTheHouse. He followed up with an EP titled “FINAL BOSS LEVEL”, a mix of alternative hardcore trap.
