Ella Guru is a live house band from Stockholm by guitarist Tommy Galento and rhythm maker Daniel Strand. The duo first met in the darkest months of 2021 at a jam among friends, but soon continued the sessions on their own. The playful grooves of balearic guitars, caustic bass lines and rich percussions that came to life in Galento’s studio became the basis for the debut record "No Strings Attached EP", released in March 2023 by Västkransen Records. As a live act, Ella Guru also features bass player Håkan Engström and percussionist Existensminimum.
