After Dreamers in 2018, featuring many collaborations (Louise Roam, La Féline, Basile di Manski, Valaire, Vimala, Chine Laroche, Després, Safe Travel …), De La Romance, aka Vincent Girault, takes the opposite approach of his former pop jewels and presents his most introspective work to date. Orbiting around electronic, jazz and pop music, we are here on the lands of Maldoror, a haunted figure of the XIXth century, passing through the album like a shaman risen from the deepest parts of self. The multi-instrumentalist producer got heads spinning in 2015 with the release of a LP compiling his 2 first EPs As We Feel and Secret World, in which Vincent showcases his ethereal music, carried by several movie-like music videos. Vincent, a confirmed drummer, is now the hallucinated conductor delivering his all-electronic live shows.
