Juan José Hernández is a Cuban singer-songwriter, music producer, arranger and musician. In 1999 he moved to Puerto Rico, where he pursued his musical career as a vocalist alongside figures such as Ismael Miranda, Humberto Ramírez, Willie Rosario and his orchestra, among others. In 2006, he created Juan José & San Juan Habana fulfilling his dream of having his orchestra, where he fuses Cuban, Puerto Rican and West Indian rhythms under a new musical sound. Juan José carved out a space for himself as a composer by writing international hits such as Arroz con Habichuela, performed by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, which earned him his first Latin Grammy nomination in 2007. Juan José is also the author of the hit Conteo Regresivo popularized by Gilberto Santa Rosa, which was noted as another outstanding success as it was the song that nominated the author for the second time for a Latin Grammy in 2008 and gave the young singer-songwriter two ASCAP Awards at the 2008 and 2009 as Best Tropical Song and Best Tropical Song of the Year, He has composed successful songs for artists such as Gilberto San Rosa, Victor Manuel, La Original Banda El Limón, Ismael Miranda, Andy Montañez, Elvis Crespo, Edgar Daniel, NG2 , N'Klave, Isaac Delgado and Los Van Van among others. Juan José Hernández now launches with a different musical project with different musical styles and songs that he had composed and saved for this occasion
