Upcoming Costarican alternative soft-rock project Caucel, led by singer, guitarist and songwriter Fabián Escala, made its debut with Low Light, a six track EP that merges strong 90’s American alternative rock and Brit pop-based influences, with contemporary synth pop hints and indie subtleties. After six months of creative collaboration with producer Nacho Coto from Selvas, their debut EP became a reality by October of 2019. With the unfortunate COVID-19 global crisis situation, Caucel secluded back to Selvas' home studio to record their second EP Nobody In Town which took them another six months to produce. By early 2021 the EP was finished and it's first single Tied Rope, was released on April 25th of that year. Two other singles from the EP with remix collaborations by MØHNE and Felino Taurino buzzed around the local radio stations and playlists with success. On August 13th of 2021 the long awaited EP Nobody In Town also mastered by Felino Taurino, was released to the public. Later in November of that same year Stars Ahead, produced at Citronella Studio by producer Gabriel Loynaz and their most successful single to date, was shared to audiences. Exploring a new sound based of the previous, Caucel is now recording new music with electronic music DJ and producer MØHNE.
