Daniel is a Londoner based in Romania with a range of musical interests, including film music and hip hop. He first garnered international attention when he was among a handful of composers invited to produce scores for Alfred Hitchcock’s silent films as part of the British Film Institute’s ‘Rescue the Hitchcock 9’ project. The resulting 90min score for The Pleasure Garden was published by Faber Music and performed at film festivals around the world. Daniel's first album The Passenger was named after the Michelangelo Antonioni film of the same name, and was inspired by a David Lynch quote describing Barry Adamson's music being "like hearing Hitchcock films in your head". He has given seminars on his music in the UK, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
