King Madi (born Ashton Madison Hight) is an independent rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. With witty punchlines, unique instrumentals and animated voices, King Madi brings a fresh, new sound to the independent music scene. 
 As a jack-of-all-trades, listeners never know what to expect from Madi. With a flexible style, he has been able to adapt to genres such as rap, EDM, alternative, pop, electronic, R&B, Punk, etc. He has notably taken inspiration from the likes of Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, Tyler, The Creator, Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Daft Punk, and more. 
 In 2016, Madi dropped his debut album Newstalgia. This futuristic alternative hip-hop album, however, was not his introduction to the music scene, as he has been writing and recording songs as early as 10 years old. 
 His 2022 album MATRIX II showcases his versatility and his skills in not only rap, but production and songwriting, and is his most successful album to date, garnering a buzz in the independent scene. 
 King Madi has no plans to slow down in 2023. His first single of 2023, ‘ringpop.’ is the lead to his 9th full-length project, and an introduction to a new direction in music.
