He represented Japan at the World BeatBox Championship in Berlin in both 2009 and 2012. In 2012, REO co-founded "Matsumoto Zoku," a group that has performed extensively across Europe, including notable appearances at festivals such as OZORA Festival, Fusion Festival, Rainbow Serpent, Blue Note Place Tokyo, WOMB Tokyo, and Oregon Solar Eclipse. Alongside his performances, REO has been prolific in music production. Between 2020-2022, he created over 300 tracks of ChillBeats and BoomBap. His three hip-hop beat tapes, released on international labels, have garnered over 2.1 million views within just one year of their release. In 2020, REO began producing the Dance Music, drawing inspiration from a Tribal cultures, the World music, and the many festivals he encountered during his decade-long journey and touring around the world.
