Daiela is an artist, Singer/Drummer, Songwriter, Producer and Multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Los Angeles. She grew up immersed in a very musical family, with her brother, artist and producer Leven Kali. Daiela began developing her sound both through her solo work and her work as a vocalist and drummer in LA-based band HALFnHALF. She’s found new ways to spin together the genres that have been foundational to her experience as a musician– R&B, funk, neo-soul– with newer sounds like pop and hyperpop to create a sound that’s all her own. She is also a creative director and visual artist, working to create a sonic and visual world that is expressive, emotional, versatile, and colorful. Daiela’s musical practice is rooted in her desire to feel and experience emotions and build connections through her sound. “To me, feelings are such a beautiful and powerful thing that we all share.
