Biography

Mountain’s initial outbreak to the international scene was achieved through overseas release from the prestigious Drum&Bass label, Hospital Records, back in 2017. He has since released a wide variety of music, surpassing a total of 20 releases. This includes tracks on labels such as Pola & Bryson's Soulvent Records, UKF's Pilot, Crucast's sister label Nucru. In 2019, he accomplished another significant milestone by becoming the first Japanese artist to release music on Andy C's label, Ram Records. His tracks gained support and exposure through various avenues, such as being played on BBC Radio 1 programs by Metrik and Rene La Vice, being featured on the Bass Music specialised YouTube channel UKF, and having his music added to the world's largest drum and bass playlist on Spotify, ‘Massive Drum & Bass’. In 2018, he performed at the DnB Festival 'Hospitality In The Park' held in Finsbury Park, London, entertaining a crowd of 12,000 people. During the winter of 2020, he successfully completed a Europe tour, playing in three countries: the Netherlands (High Tea Amsterdam with Metrik, Kanine, Monroe, T&Sugah), the UK (Soul In Motion with Bryan G, GLXY, Malaky), and Hungary (Bladerunnaz as the main guest). He was an exclusive artist for Soulvent Records. During this time, he released his self-titled debut album ‘Mountain’. Featuring a total of 14 tracks, it includes collaborations with artists such as Makoto, Karina Ramage, Ruth Royall, In:Most, and Kojo.
