Tugga (Tugg), a nick name given to him by his mother as a child, is one of Lansing's upcoming stars. He developed a passion for rap at a very early age. As a child he spent a lot of time around former Record Label "Po & Unknown Records" ran by his family. At 12, Tugga began to write music as hobby. By time he was 14 he had been recording music at home with his friends. He started releasing the music under the encouragement of his family and friends. Every song he released he was heavily praised for his lyricism and honesty. He's often told he's way ahead of his time. Around the time he was 16 he linked up with middle school friend Justin (another highly notable Lansing artist) and started releasing a series of songs together. With the help of Justin, Tugga's popularity began to grow widely. He quickly emerged to be one of the city's top artist. Tugga than begin to work on his 1st solo project D.R.E.A.M.$ followed by Almost Decent & Almost Decent 2. Now Tugga can be heard regularly throughout the community. With over 1000 plays on every song he's released, sell out shows, there's no debate that Tugga has a lot to prove and so much more to offer.
