YUNG SLIM Brian Norman Jr, professionally known as Yung Slim, is an American rapper and songwriter originally from Plymouth, North Carolina. Yung Slim receiving recognition as an artist began in 2013 while attending Elizabeth City State University and meeting a friend who introduced him into working with recording software for the first time, along with the confidence he already had, fused him into pursuing a career in music professionally. 
 Yung Slim’s entertainment background consists of always having a passion for creating music and drawing. Being a grade A student throughout school, Yung Slim understood how education could assist him throughout life. The music in his headphones helped him get away from the world and cultivated his talent as a songwriter.
