NK Music has been a name in the beat making scene for a while now. His now popular YouTube channel was established in late 2014. Starting out with FL Studio tutorials and his earliest beats, this laid the groundwork for the 125k+ subscriber channel we see today. Hailing from the state of Arkansas, NK always knew that he wanted music in his life. His small, tight-knit hometown community was swarming with artistic aesthetics, giving NK the inspiration to make his musical dream a reality. Throughout the years NK’s style has gone through changes, but he didn’t truly come into his own until his 2019 release, Andromeda. Setting out to experiment, NK wanted to create a new sound within the lofi genre. Featuring jazzy guitars, smooth rhodes, and complex saxophone phrases (notably played by collaborator mariussax), the beats on this record would define NK’s timeless sound. The astrological song titles within Andromeda would also become inseparable from NK’s aesthetic, and continue to appear in nearly every subsequent release. Since this record NK has released a plethora of projects, and continues to experiment within lofi hip hop, jazz hop, and chill hop. Currently, NK still humbly resides in Arkansas. He stays busy by releasing new music on his YouTube channel almost daily. NK’s next goal is to network within the music community. Making lasting connections with producers, labels, and anyone he’d be lucky enough to work with is something he values deeply.
