Vudufa emerged in 2018 as an innovative proposal created by the talented Peruvian producers and rappers Pounda and NoModico. With the aim of expanding his musical horizons, Vudufa fuses elements of Afro-Peruvian and folk music with his distinctive style. Inspired by the legendary Burrofa, an enigmatic demonic dancer from the Peruvian folk dance of the diablicos of Huancabamba (Piura), and making a phonetic game with Voodoo, an essential element of mysticism and African culture in America, Vudufa immerses itself in a universe unique sound that evokes the very essence of world percussion."
