Mindtimisy pushes the barriers in hip-hop by showcasing the line between transparency & emotional catastrophe. The native New Yorker’s work speaks for itself as he portrays his words as paintings to allow his audience to conclude the theme of his story. Raised in Uptown Manhattan he first made noise by performing in large events before he officially released his music, with the success of his first single “I’m Innocent” Mindtimisy was inspired to continue to create and shape the sound he is known for today. His solo album “Alkaline” was a test to the definition of his voice as he was working on developing his artistry by using various tones, he then took an 18 month hiatus to refine his sound and put it to the test in his second project “Carelessly Astray”. Mindtimisy’s versatility in artistry doesn’t just stop at music, he also photographs, records, & directs the imagery of his mastery that paints a picture of the story that forecasts the events that helped influence his art.
