Biography

Founded by guitar player and producer Fabián Morales in 2012, Los Bulldozer have their own particular way of bringing international influences like Soukous, West-African blues and post-punk to the already exquisite musical diversity of key Colombian styles such as Currulao, Champeta, and Reggaeton. Adela Espitia (Vocals, percussion, performance), Fabián Morales (Guitars, vocals, programming) and Sandro Londoño (Drums) distinctive approach to musical experiments and strong visual identity have been successfully consolidated over their 2017 European tour with performances at prominent stages such as the FMM Sines (Portugal), Shambala Festival (England), and Yaam (Berlin). In 2018, the trio expanded their audience to include crowds with rich Latin and tropical tastes in a successful Brazilian tour, including showcases in “Porto Musical” (Recife) and “Sesc Belenzinho” (Sao Paulo). Inventive and always on point, drawing their influences from multiple artists ranging from Lokassa Ya Mbongo, Ali Farka, and Bopol Mansiamina to Nirvana, NIN, and Parliament Funkadelic, Adela, Fabian and Sandro recontextualize these apparently opposite worlds into a singular and unparalleled identity. Their past releases include the 2015 EP “Bailador Canibal” and a collaboration with German producer Daniel Haaksman for his 2016 album “African Fabrics”.
