Danilo Di Paolonicola starting music at the age of six playing the Diatonic Accordion and immediately demonstrating a pre-cocious talent by winning all the competitions in which he participated and soon considered a child prodigy. Winner of six "World Championships" of diatonic accordion and international competitions. in 2007 Danilo with his group "Ethnic Project" won the most important competition in the world for jazz accordion "City of Castelfidardo Award" and in the same year again with his group he also won the "Premio Stefano Bizzarri” He obtained a first and second level degree in Composition and Arrangement of Popular Music, at the Luisa D'Annunzio conservatory in Pescara with full marks. He studied jazz music with Renzo Ruggieri, attended advanced training courses at the Berklee School in Umbria Jazz (PG). He has taught the first experimental course in Italy for diatonic accordion since 2008 at the conservatory of L'Aquila “A.Casella”, and from 2019 at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. In 2009 and 2010 he was teacher of the Campus Afam advanced training courses in Santa Severina (CZ) He is the official demonstrator of the accordion for the "Paolo Soprani" company and "Roland Europe" for the V Accordion line for which he created the first virtual diatonic accordion. He has over sixty records, and in 2016 he released his latest record entirely unreleased with artistic collaborations of the highest level entitled No Gender for the Cinik Records label.
