Mann J was born Jason Walker on September 15, 1998 in Houston, Texas. After gaining an interest in music he was pinning his own songs at age 11. As time went on he continued to hone his skills as a rapper in cyphers, participating in rap battles, and continuing to write, mostly to pre-used instrumentals for already popular songs. Since beginning to release his own original material he has released three official EPs, and 3 official full length projects garnering millions of streams across digital platforms. Along the way he has also founded his own label/artist services company Fire Track Music Group (later re-named and re-launched as Imperial Committee Entertainment) that he develops and distributes talent through. His music can be described as hard hitting trap/reality rap that tells stories of street-life, overcoming & perseverance, boasting cockiness and confidence, and love.
