Groovekode was formed after a chance meeting between established DJs and Producers Dave Earl and Loz Bull (Nu-Lab) in Ibiza, late 2018. With over 20 years of experience between them, they have quickly developed a reputation for hi-energy, sets, their love of tech-house is shown in their performances, infused with tribal twists. The duo has appeared at some of the UK’s most renowned venues including Motion for the Paul Oakenfold showcase, O2 Academy in Brixton for MK’s Area10 brand, and support for David Morales and Marshall Jefferson at the Arch in Brighton. The pair are also no strangers to the UK festival circuit with performances at Nozstock, Wilkestock, and Fusion Winter Festival. The duo has had releases on some of the UK’s most established labels, support from Doorly, Marco Carola, and Richie Hawtin. Releases on labels Kukushka and Vamos, as well as remix requests from David Ricardo (Toolroom) and Meli Rodrigues. Their debut track was added to the ElRow official Spotify playlist, as well as charting in the Traxsource and Beatport top 100. Groovekode may be a relatively new name on the scene but what they deliver shows that they have a firm grip of what crowds expect on a dancefloor and the duo never fail to disappoint, Sonny Wharton stated “set of the Night’ at Nozstock, and Doorly labeled them “a pair of Groovers!!”. With accreditation like this and a sure-fire release schedule this year it won’t be long before Groovekode rightfully sits amongst their current peers.
