Andrés (Son.) arrived in Barcelona in 2013 from México, and one year later, he began organizing artistic events with his collective Allmyfrnds. In 2017, he started traveling across Europe with his equipment, performing wherever possible. This led to opportunities to play at festivals and prominent clubs such as Fusion Festival, Berns (Se), Forest Star Festival, and Razzmatazz, to name just a few. In 2018, he established his own record label RaRaRa Records, featuring releases from artists like O/Y, Holed Coin, PALLADIAN, Carla Valenti, Raul Naro, NoN-Project, and many others. His artwork pieces transcend the boundaries of reality, transporting viewers to a new dimension. The name "Son." holds profound significance, embodying both linguistic and musical symbolism. Derived from the plural of the Spanish word for "Ser,"(to be), It also resonates as "son," evoking the rich tapestry of Afro-Caribbean-mestizo musical genres like "son jarocho." Furthermore, "son" serves as a measure of loudness, emphasizing the dynamic and immersive nature of Son.'s creations.
