With a lively and extremely open mind, Richey V challenges conventions by proposing ambitious and multifaceted responses. In his productions and DJ sets we find a constant search for emotions and contrasts, which characterize his style as an intriguing union of techno without forgetting his punk attitude. On several occasions, including Amnesia Ibiza and Social Music City, he has shared the console with renowned international DJs such as Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini, Ilario Alicante, Nina Kravitz, Sven Väth, Indira Paganotto, Chris Liebing, Kobosil, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, SAMA, Dave Clarke and many others. Richey V has released music on labels like REDIMENSION (Joseph Capriati) and JAM (Sam Paganini). He’s founder and resident of VOID, a weekly techno event that has animated Milan since 2014. VOID is the place where his musical inspiration also takes shape visually, creating a powerful collective imagination, in which the darkest aspect never neglects pure fun. After the experience with the label Ratis, in 2023 he decided to found Don’t Play This at Home Records: a space where artists can go further and experiment. There are no rules: it’s techno with the punk attitude for what the word originally meant: freedom of expression. Whether it’s a rock guitar or a more classically techno track, inside we always find something that can be called "different".
