Jean_Baptiste is a Jazz Vibraphonist born in France, after classical Percussion studies there he enrroled at Berklee College in Boston where he studied with Gary Burton. He co-leads the Bocle Brothers Band with bass playing brother Gildas, they have recorded 6 albums of original music with guests such as Dave Liebman, John Abercrombie, Michael Brecker, Danilo Perez, Donny Mc Caslin, Manu Katché . Their latest project includes Uilleann Pipes for some hybrid Jazz with Celtic overtones, JB also plays Mallet Kat and Organ. JB has played or recorded with Gerry Gibbs, Ravi Coltrane, Gary Versace, Walt Weisskopf, Billy Drummond, Nelson Veras and others. JB lives in Brooklyn NY where he also works as a composer and producer with Warner Chappell Music, his works have appeared in advertising, film & TV and more recently he has been composing for video games, most notably contributing many cues for Magic The Gathering Arena ( Hasbro) since 2019.
