Shikara is a Third Cultured Queen. She was born in Malaysia, but grew up in 10 different countries around the world. She started writing poems at the tender age of 14 and wrote her first rap at age 17. Shikara is a prominent face in Malaysian Hip-Hop dipping in and out of the industry for 10 years. Shikara makes occasional appearances in the spoken poetry world. She has performed in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia and Libya, and has collaborated with artists from Canada, France, Nigeria, Senegal, Eritrea and the United Kingdom. Shikara has also worked with the legendary A.R Rahman on the featured soundtrack 'Jugni' for the movie Kaatru Veliyidai.
