Hurt & Skip is a Group from Spartanburg, S.C. Consisting of Joe Power, Shane Pruitt and Jason “Slice” Phillips. The project is named after Blues Pioneers Mississippi John Hurt and Skip James and delivers a unique “Outlaw Tribal Blues” that blends traditional blues with tribal percussion that keeps you glued to the next note. They have released 3 albums in just under 18 months and are just getting started! The single “I Need Your Love” from our debut album “Leave Behind The Cold” is featured in the upcoming film “Evil at The Door”.
