In June 2017 Rey Sapienz self-taught music production and within a year, released his first EP 'Hakuna Kulala' which became the paragon of the Nyege Nyege sublabel Hakuna Kulala. Currently he is the artist liaison within this label and is a certified Ableton lecturer. He gives lectures to young artists in Kampala and has toured Europe, East-Africa and played three editions of Nyege Nyege festival.
