Thomas Jackson is a musician and filmmaker based in Stockholm, Sweden. His musical output has ranged from soundtracks and wall of sound-rock to electronic music in various constellations. The album Den inre skogen (Inner Woods) was the soundtrack to his documentary film by the same name. It was released through renowned instrumental music label Flora & Fauna and has reached over 10 million streams. In the fall of 2020 the same label released a remix EP of songs from the album, with contributions from a stellar line up of Harald Björk, Elin Piel and Andreas Tilliander/Mokira. In 2022 the single Laika was released, as well as Tundra from his award-winning film Historjá - which also picked up the prestigious Guldbaggen for Best Original Music for a film. During 2023-24 a series of singles was released in support of upcoming album Recollections of a Wind, set to be released on September 26th of this year. The films of Thomas Jackson has been shown around the world at festivals such as Berlin Film Festival, Toronto Hot Docs and San Sebastian Film Festival, and at art institutions such as MoMA Tokyo, Kiasma and Bonnier konsthall. He currently also make music as one half of electronica duo Random Notes.
