Hey! I’m Lavender Rodriguez (actual name I KNow!), pronouns they/them. Welcome to my lovely Spotify profile! The world likes to box us in categories but I really hate boxes so I like to say I’m a genre-bender, gender bender - non-binary by gender, non-binary by nature. I love mixing electronic sounds with my classical upbringing, I love dancing and partying but I love storytelling and creating connections with you guys. Growing up, I always felt different and othered and I want to create spaces, like this, where anyone anywhere can feel like they can let loose and forget the world for a bit. If you’re down for that, I’m down :) Other fun facts: I play a multitude of instruments! Lastly, I’ve got my 5th single coming out on the 26th April 2024 and I’m gigging around the North West with an EP release in a few months. “Sunrise” is my first ever song I wrote and produced, and it features my violin! The song is about yearning to wake up to the warm embrace of love and familiarity, feeling safe and at home. It's a heartfelt exploration of the desire to wake up surrounded by those who truly care.
