$TANZA is a 24 year old rapper from Queens, NY with a passion for clever and layered lyricism. He is a member of 929 Records alongside Tiny Timb and DJ Schitz. Making his rap debut on The Tiny Timb Mixtape in 2018 ("10acity Reloaded"), $TANZA became a regular feature in Tiny Timb's discography, with verses on 2019's Timbs Square ("Trip"), 2021's Graduatimb ("Curry"), 2022's Timbs Squared ("KENLEY JANSEN"), as well as the 2023 single "No Nut November 3." He also wrote and sang the hook for "Curtain Call" on 2020's Quarantimb. In 2019, $TANZA released his first two singles ("Pimps of 7-Eleven" featuring Tiny Timb, and "Empire" featuring DJ Schitz). The former would go on to receive an updated version in 2022 (stylized as "PIMPS OF 7-3L3V3N" for the 3-year anniversary). His next original song wouldn't release until 2024, titled "KOBE" and featuring both previous collaborators. $TANZA's debut EP, HOMECOMING: QUEENS was developed over the course of a year, following his return to NYC in May 2023, and explores coming-of-age themes such as sexuality, existentialism, and self-perception.
