Son of Ecuadorian parents, Ricky C was born in Chicago, and raised in Miami, Florida. Early 2009, Ricky C signed with Universal Music Latino. On June 11, 2011, his first single "Otro Amor", attained #12 spot on the Latin Billboards Tropical Charts. In August 2013, "No Soy Feliz Sin Ti" is the second the single released by Ricky C independently. In the first week, the song positioned #20 on the Latin Tropical Billboard Charts.
