Marjorie Martinez is a singer, guitarist and composer possessing an expressive voice and superb vocal technique. Her many and varied musical influences seep into her own compositions which brim with the freedom and sophistication of jazz, the roots of folk, the grit of the blues and the passionate drive of rock. Marjorie leads her own band, the Marjorie Martinez Quartet based in Nice, France This group of outstanding musicians records and performs her original compositions as well as some choice standards from a wide range of musical genres. Marjorie is also a featured vocalist with the Nice Jazz Orchestra (NJO) led by Pierre Bertrand.
