Up and coming from the city of Philadelphia is Lil Niddy. Being from Uptown Philly (SummerVille section) alone can influence anybody to rap. When you look Philly’s rap history from The Roots to Eve, Beanie Sigel, Cassidy, Meek Mill, and PNB Rock is it no secret that Philadelphia contributed to hip-hop! Aside from the major Philadelphia influence that inspired Lil Niddy he also grew up watching his father make music as well. Speaking on this situation he explains “Yea my pop was doing the music heavy too, outside the major artist from Philly, I use to love watching him growing up and that played a major part.”. 
  Niddy while he has his own sound he does admit that he’s a huge fan of Meek Mill and G. Herbo. Herbo has a crazy flow and one of the best spitters in the game, Niddy has claimed and he loves Meek Mill obviously for putting on for the city. Overall though he feels for the most part a lot of music in hip-hop is watered down with repetitive messages. Niddy feels what separates him from new rappers is due to his story to tell and how he really come from the trenches as they quite often say. He states “I’m 100% focused and nothing is going to stop me, I have tunnel vision right now”. 
 As far as music goes right now, he just released his critically acclaimed project “Don’t Make Me The Villian”. It’s buzzing in the streets right now.
