Faraz Kaviani, born in 1981 in Kermanshah is an Iranian musician and producer known for his competency in playing Tanboor which he started learning in 1990. He graduated with a bachelor of Arts in music with Tar as the main instrument of the field. His music and technique has been influenced by prominent maestros such as Hossein Dehlavi, Behrouz Hemmati, Mohammad Reza Ebrahimi, Fariborz Azizi, Saeed Sabet and Abdolnaghi Afsharnia.
