Growing Nai was born out of Nai’s need to ‘grow’ her circumstances after being left a single mother with CPTSD after an incredibly abusive relationship. Nai instinctively took to poetry, journalling and artistic expression to outlet the memories and experiences overwhelming her system. Poetry brought Nai a connection to her inner best friend and wisdom instead of being dominated by the voice of abuse that lived on after the abuse had ended.
