Revert, born Brandon Phillips, is a hip hop artist from Lakewood, WA. Reverts music brings witty lyricism with delivery even jimmy johns couldn’t compete with. 
 Growing up in Lakewood, WA, Revert lived about 500 yards from the local skate park where he took up skateboarding at the age of 13. After picking up a skateboard, Revert wanted to do nothing else and had dreams of becoming a professional skateboarder. 
 Revert never really had an interest in music at all and that goes for any genre. He never really grew up paying attention to lyrics or the meaning of songs so music didn’t have much of an impact on him growing up. 
 It wasn’t until he was about 17 years old that he took interest in hip hop because one of his best friends at the time would freestyle and show him new music. Revert took attention to this and started free styling with his friend for the fun of it. After realizing he was actually very good at free-styling he decided to start writing music. 
 In 2013 Revert dropped his first remix song. Thereafter he released remixes to popular songs until 2017 when he released a self titled EP, “The Revert EP.” In early 2019 he released another EP titled “Milk N’ Cookies”. Summer 2021 Revert is set to release a full studio album along with a mass of singles, music videos, features, and a clothing line.
