From their heralded EP Lies Between Us Us, their Debut LP What We Started to their ECMA 2022 winning album, Autopilot, the Canadian Indie Rock/Electro Rock duo continue their unparalleled sense of adventure and experimentation. Originally from Nova Scotia, the Ottawa Based Paragon Cause continue to challenge the conventions of indie rock and electronica. Autopilot features production by indie rock icon Sune Rose Wagner of the The Raveonettes. This isn't the first collaboration with Sune Rose as he also produced Paragon Cause's Lies Between Us and What We Started. Autopilot also features production by Liam Howe, founding member of Sneaker Pimps, famous for hits such as Spin Spin Sugar and 6 Underground. Another musical influence on Paragon Cause also made a guest appearance, Eric Avery, original bassist and songwriter for Jane's Addiction performs and produces on Autopilot. The duo has also produced music for Berlin, BlakLight and The Dant Danners Paragon Cause continue to expand their musical palate with each album. Drawing on influences from A Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang Clan and Main Source to modern artists like ACTORS, Metric, Broken Social Scene, Eric's Trip, Drab Majesty, Boy Harsher as well as classic bands including A Flock Of Seagulls, Suicide, The Everly Brothers, Peter Green and KMFDM.
