Growing up in Missouri City (Mo. City), by way of Houston Texas, Mic Drew began writing poetry as a young teen which reflected his life experiences that effected him personally. As time went by, he began freestyle rapping with his peers. Mastering the art of placing rhythmic words together in a timely manner, Mic quickly realized he was developing a style that was much different than others. The poems he had written gradually evolved into songs. Ultimately becoming the style within the Mic Drew Music you hear today.
