Eduardo Gudin is a Brazilian composer, arranger and guitarist who navigates the border between popular and classical music. He is primarily recognized as a composer of sambas, with a very distinctive style. However, he is also a composer of songs, film soundtracks, and orchestral arrangements, with mastery of both popular and classical guitar. Beyond his role as a melodist, Gudin is also a skilled lyricist, and has composed songs with numerous renowned partners such as Paulinho da Viola, Paulo Vanzolini, Paulo César Pinheiro, Carlos Lyra, Adoniran Barbosa, Arrigo Barnabé, Aldir Blanc, Ivan Lins, Roberto Riberti, J.C. Additionally, he is active as an orchestrator, teacher, and cultural producer.
