JayBenz is a hip hop artist/singer based out of Crown Point, IN. He began making music as a way to relieve stress in his life. His lyrics are deep, very meaningful and emotional. The artist talks about real life obstacles that he is facing and the ability to talk about it on the microphone helps him get through it. He says “Listening to my lyrics and pain in my voice will be the closest someone can get to understanding me and what I’ve been through”. JayBenz is a naturally gifted musician. He stepped to the mic for the first time and made the hit song “Helpless”, which can be found on all streaming platforms. With minimal production knowledge and the lack of any professional gear, JayBenz was able to step to the mic and put out a hit song that would put him on the map as an artist in his local area. 
 Thomas James Benson (JayBenz), was born October 17, 1999. JayBenz takes strong influence from artists such as The Kid LAROI, Yung Pinch, Iann Dior, and Juice WRLD. Outside of music JayBenz is an aspiring baseball player, in the past year he competed and played at the well known IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.
