Alex, AKA N47, originates from southern France, lives near the Geneva region. Beginning his musical journey in the early 2000s with beat making for his rap group, N47 draws inspiration from the underground hip-hop scene, delving into various hip-hop disciplines such as rap, graffiti, and turntablism. His repertoire primarily consists of instrumental hip-hop infused with scratching, though he ventures into electronic music genres like drum and bass and techno. Each track encapsulates a different narrative, using music notes, samples, and rhythms to transport listeners into diverse realms, eliciting curiosity and emotions. While initially influenced by rap groups like IAM, NTM, N47's musical influences have expanded to encompass artists from various genres, countries and cultures.
