Sound Out is the brain child of DJ/producer Shane Dabinett. A veteran to the Irish club scene with over 15 years experience behind the decks and in the studio. His distinctive take on house music is a by product from his love of early house music and UK rave, twisted with modern production techniques and solid beats. Hailing from Kilkenny, a small town in the southeast of Ireland with an amazingly rich arts scene, his productions are almost entirely collaborations between local musicians. Most reoccurring being Toby Millie (keyboards and all round rave wizardry), Marina Bini (vocals) and Michael Corrcran (guitar and bass) plus many other drop ins/outs from late night studio sessions. Behind the decks is where Sound Out is most comfortable and really comes to life. While keeping things grounded in house music his sets are always different. Fusing genres together you can expect to hear anything from drum & bass to folk music (everything in between) and back again. And having shared the stage with the likes of DJ Sneak, Alex Metric, Shit Robot, The Japanese Popstars, Audiojack, Duke Dumont, and many many others, you know you're in good hands on any dance floor he's in control of.
