Evo The EX-I born Eveul Jr Francois Exil is a Hip Hop and Spoken Word Artist from Miami, FL who brings a calm and grimey voice with a Lo-Fi sound through musical influences such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, OutKast, Nas, MF Doom and many more. Born on July 6, 2000, Evo gained a deep love for music at a young age but didn't realize he had the gift and passion for it until he was 13 which he began playing percussion for his church. A year later in high school, a 14 yr old Evo grew a love for poetry through his English class and was captivated by the Spoken Word performances he watched through YouTube videos. He would eventually write poems of his own which he would sometimes convert into original rap lyrics. His peers would take notice of it and realized this was a way he could express what he was going through and something he could pursue as a career. Since then Evo would go on to enter in poetry competitions, open mics, talent showcases, and regular performances around his city to sharpen his skills and make his presence known. Around that time, he started recording music and would upload his songs including "Determined and Phenomenal", "The E-Tro" and "I Can't Tell You Why" on his SoundCloud. Through music, Evo would unlock different skills he thought he never had and develop his artistry by learning everything from video production to learning the business of the industry.
