The singer and songwriter of roots reggae known as Bas360 has released his latest album, “Aqui Vengo (Here I Come).” The album contains eight original tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been proudly published on the Steamatic Records independent music label without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Popping, hopping, and played deep in the groove, “Aqui Vengo (Here I Come)” is a sure sign that Bas360 has arrived. Bas360 cites as main artistic influences Garnet Silk, Dennis Brown, Micheal Jackson, Kendrick Lamar, Vybz Kartel, Aidonia. Born in St. Ann, Jamaica, he notes also that his generation “emerged in the wake of the influence of Beres Hammond, Ghost and a host of other artistes from the Lover’s Rock genre.” Living and performing now in Los Angeles, Bas360 describes his new record as a reggae-roots album that “brings the authentic Jamaican sound that people have grown to love and adore.” Bas360’s popularity continues to grow through prominent singles including, “Love Is Like the Sunshine,” “Can’t Cut My Strings,” “She Want It,” and “Don’t Be Afraid.” His songs have an international following, powered in part by current circulation on major radio stations such as Irie FM and ZIP FM.
