An Irish DJ whose first big break came with a remix gig for the Source, Micky Modelle was best known for his work with Belgian vocalist Jessy on their hit single "Dancing in the Dark" in 2006. Modelle got his start at the age of 15, DJing parties and such, but it was his work in the clubs that got him signed to Intelligence Records. Modelle has also been a record shop owner, was named DJ of the year in 2000, and has been part of the groups Electroheadz and Tuff Twins. His success with Jessy on "Dancing in the Dark" was big enough to keep the collaboration going, and the two released a follow-up single, "Over You," shortly thereafter. ~ Chris True, Rovi
