In 2019, two friends and music producers from germany found themselves stranded in a small house on the portuguese coast. It was a much needed holiday: After almost twenty years of experience in the music industry and after countless releases in various genres, they felt tired and drained by the high energy lifestyle that comes with constant releases and touring. While they both knew that making music was their passion and their way of life, they also knew that they could not go on like that. Something needed to change. They needed a new approach, and a new creative home - and so, inspired by the regular drizzle brought by the atlantic ocean, VINCENT RAYN was born. 
 VINCENT RAYN´s sound is inspired by modern lofi-hip hop as well as 90´s trip hop and downtempo music. It is spacey, it is chilled and lush - but there is always an element that keeps the listener engaged, an edge that keeps the music from being a mere noise in the background. While most producers in the lofi genre heavily rely on samples, all instruments and sounds on VINCENT RAYN´s music are played and recorded by the two musicians. 
 Their music may be relaxed and laid-back, but the output of the two musicians is still highly engaging: since 2020, their 35 released singles were streamed over 10 million times by listeners all around the world.
