After graduating from Brown University with a degree in Electronic Music and Multimedia in 2005, Porter traveled the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand “searching for herself.” The person she found there wanted to get back home and into the studio, to record and produce her first album “the self-fulfilling prophecy”, and to learn yoga. In 2011, Porter began recording “The Music Within”, featuring “Bliss (I Am the Light of My Soul)”, which has been played at spiritual conferences, yoga classes and medicine ceremonies across the globe. Since then, she has recorded 9 more albums, as well as an vast number of singles. Her music has been recognized and shared by a variety of prominent figures, from singer Alicia Keyes to cardiologist Dr. Joel Kahn. Porter has performed in Europe, and across the United States—leading conscious wellness festivals such as Bhakti Fest, the German Yoga Festival and Sat Nam Fest. She also hosts “Inspired Artist Podcast: Conversations with Spiritual Creatives.” Currently, she resides in Washington state, where she continues to record and release new music on a regular basis.
