Wussup world!! I'm Ashley King, female rapper from Memphis, TN. I have been rapping since I was 12 and always had a passion for music overall. I took a break from rap for a while to go back to school. I ended up getting my degree but still felt a lack of something then realized music was what I was missing. So I started back writing and got back in the lab and took off from there. My EP I Go By AK stems from real life struggles and situations that I went through in life. The blues and trap like sounds is nostalgic and represents the city of Memphis and helps you to better understand my background. My old rap name used to be AK when I was a teen in high school. Now that I'm grown with a education I want people to know me personally as Ashley King. I love all types of music and have a Memphis underground sound. I grew up influenced by Three Six Mafia which is the legendary group from Memphis so I adopted that sound and made it my own.
